Geocache Description:

We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy But what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations.

North Camp station, on the former South Eastern Railway's Redhill to Reading line, opened in 1858 though it is believed the current station buildings were constructed a few years later. North Camp is a self-contained southern suburb of Farnborough. North Camp was the original Victorian town centre for Farnborough. The station is named for the eponymous military camp in the area which opened three years before the station. Beside the up platform (towards Redhill and Gatwick Airport) is a small oil depot with two sidings reached from the Reading end. North of the platforms is a level crossing.

The cache is located approximately 0.1m from the station on a public footpath. You are looking for a small container (formerly a poster paint pot) containing a log book and pencil.
