Luolakätkö Heinolassa - A cache in a cave in Heinola
Joudut ryömimään tai konttaamaan noin 6 metrin matkan ahtaassa luolassa, jonka loppuosa on noin 4-5 metriä maanpinnan alapuolella. Luolan suuaukko on pieni ja vaikea löytää, peräosa on tilavampi. Luolaan päästyäsi kätkörasia on helppo löytää. Se on nimittäin muovinen 6 l laatikko, joten siihen mahtuu isompiakin vaihtotavaroita. Ei ahtaan paikan kammoisille! En suosittele yli 120 kg painoisille tai yli 200 cm pituisille henkilöille. Varo teräviä kiviä. Suosittelen taskulamppua, tosin päiväsaikaan luolaan pääsee valoa pienistä rei'istä.
Auton voi pysäköidä päiväkodin pysäköintipaikalle 61N14.437 ja 026E03.307 , josta kätkölle voi mennä kahta reittiä. Helpompi on itäinen (vasen) pieniä polkuja pitkin mäen päälle suunnilleen reittipisteen 61N14.369 ja 026E03.401 kautta. Suorempi läntinen reitti vie suunnilleen reittipisteen 61N14.312 ja 026E03.275 kautta jyrkän rinteen juurelle.
GPS toimii paremmin mäen päällä, ei luolassa eikä syvissä halkeamissa. Kätkö on löydettävissä yhtä helposti runsaankin lumen aikana.
You have to grawl in a narrow cave about 6 metres long, 4-5 metres under ground. The hole of the cave is small and difficult to find. After getting in the cave, the cache is easy to find, because the volume of the box is 6 litres. So you can put quite large goods in it. Not recommended for persons having claustrofobia, weight over 120 kg or height over 200 cm. Be careful for sharp stones. An electric torch is recommended, but in daytime there is some light coming through small holes.
You can park your car in the parking place of the kindergarten at 61N14.437 and 026E03.307. You can choose between two routes. The easier (eastern, left) one along narrow trails to the top of the hill through way point 61N14.369 and 026E03.401. Or the shorter (western) route through way point 61N14.312 and 026E03.275 at the foot of the steep slope of the hill.
GPS is working better at the top of the hill, not in the cave or in deep clefts. The cache can be found also in winter.
