Geocache Description:

A wheelchair friendly cache, located at Bracknell Mill Pond.

The historic Mill Pond has been converted to a 'Balancing Pond'to help prevent flooding.It collects rainwater falling on roads, roofs and carparks. In storms the balancing pond holds back the rush of water and lets it go only slowly towards the river.
There is a circular path with a variety of wild birds and various plants/trees.
There is also a childrens play area and during summer months a cafe for refreshments.
If however you are hungry there is a well known takeaway close by.
There is a car park specifically for the Mill Pond so parking should not be a problem.
