Geocache Description:

The Dam is a amazing feet of Engineering.

The Benmore dam is the biggest Earthen Dam in the Southern Hemisphere.
The cache location has great views of the dam and when the gates are spilling is very speticular.

The lake is popular with boaties.

ALL the power from this dam goes to the North Island.
