The Whitchurch Wherigo
A virtual tour round the historic market town of Whitchurch in North Shropshire.
Your tour will take you to several interesting locations in the town centre where you will need to 'interact' with several colourful characters from the town's past in order to obtain the final physical geocache.
Allow about an hour for the tour or more if you want to stop and browse the shops on the way.
The co-ordinates at the top of the page are for suggested parking just by Newtown. There is plenty of other parking available in the town.
The Wherigo Cartridge
To complete this Wherigo you will need to have a compatible device. Navigate to the Wherigo website and download the cartridge. Follow the trail around the town and you will get to the final cache.
iPhone users can download the wherigo player from the appstore (Search for 'Wherigo').
Android users can download whereyougo from Google Play.
The Cache
The Wherigo adventure leads you to a final physical geocache. You need to sign the logbook in this in order to claim a find.
Please be extremely stealthy at the final location and make sure you hide the cache well.
