All Saints Church, Weston
Green
Another contribution to the Church Micro series, started by
sadexploration.
All Saints Church in Weston Green, known locally simply as the
"White Church", is located between Esher and Thames Ditton. It was
designed by the architect of Guildford Cathedral, Sir Edward Maufe
and was consecrated in 1939.
This is a simple offset multi-cache. The listed co-ordinates are
not for the cache itself, but will take you to a location with a
good view of the Church, particularly during the winter months when
there are no leaves on the trees. At this location you need to
gather some information that will enable you to determine the
resting place of the cache itself. You do not need to enter the
church grounds either to gather this information or to find the
cache.
What was Terry's age in years, months and days when he died?
AB years, CD months and EF days.
To calculate the co-ordinates of the final cache:
From the northing of the given co-ordinates subtract
0.EC(B+F)
To the westing of the given coordinates add
0.(C+D)(A-B)(A/2)
The cache contains a log only - no pen or pencil, so don't
forget to bring your own!
If anybody would like
to expand this series please do, we would just ask that you could
let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church
numbers and names to avoid duplication
