Geocache Description:

This cache is in honor or our good friend Wes.

At the beginning of 2006 a group of good college friends reuniting to realize a little fun went on a great caching adventure. Imagine a van full of 20 somethings riding from Charlotte to Rock Hill to see our old stomping grounds @ Winthrop University and do some caching in the rain.

This was our first experience with caching and we had a GREAT time. Since then we have been hooked.

In honor of that day and of our good friend Wes we would like to place this cache to commemorate his birthday.

Happy Birthday Wes! Here's to many more!

This cache is in a local nature preserve. You will have to do a bit of hiking to get to the cache location. This park has many trails so try not to get too discouraged figuring out which one to take. ;) Don't worry you won't have to do too much bushwhacking. The trail will get you close to the cache but you will have to veer off the path to make the find. Stop and think when you get to the location. I know that sometimes it is easy to get excited and quickly look for a cache where it seems obvious. You will have to do a little work to get this one. When you get to ground zero just stop and think. Chances are a light bulb will go off over your head and you will figure it out.
