Sakura Joshi Park is a park in ruins of a castle of Sakura Domain.There is a plum grove in the south of this plaza.
Sakura Domain was important for Shogunate Government of Edo.
The barracks of the regiment of foot is put there after Meiji Restoration, and there is National Museum of Japanese History now. (visit link)
The park is covered with rich trees.

ここは普段、駐車場として使われている広場があり、南側には梅林があります。
佐倉城址公園は、佐倉藩の城があったところです。
佐倉藩は、代々江戸幕府の要職を務めたものが治めました。
明治維新後は歩兵連隊の兵舎が設置され、現在では国立歴史民族博物館が置かれています。

ここには城の建物自体は残っていいませんが、ここは空堀や土塁の残る緑豊かな素晴らしい公園です。
春には桜、秋には紅葉など四季折々の自然を楽しんでください。
