At the bottom of the crater to the west of One Tree Hill's summit. easiest option is to follow the contours around the crater to get to the bottom rather than racing straight down (especially in wet weather).
Accuracy is shown to be +/- 4.9 metres using the averaging feature of the garmin GPSmap 60CSx.
The cache is out in the open and shouldn't take a lot of searching for... if you use your imagination. Spoiler photos attached give a better view of the Cache.
Please note that on the 30.3.2014 we reconstructed and re-positioned the cache a couple of meters closer to the tree after the original cache was misapropriated. It's current position is at S 36 53.986 E 174 46.875. It is only about 2 meters from the former location and it's heavy construction should assist in preventing it being taken again.
