Geocache Description:

SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations.

Goring and Streatley station has platforms on each of the fast and relief (slow) lines, although the platforms on the fast lines see little use. The station frontage building is to the east of the station, alongside the London bound relief platform. There are two pedestrian entrances directly onto the western, down fast platform, one of which links to Goring village centre. Access between the platforms is via steps and a footbridge.

Goring & Streatley station is served by stopping services run by First Great Western between Reading and Oxford. Most of these services start or continue as semi-fast services between Reading and London Paddington.
