Artume's Mystery Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

geodarts: This cache no longer meets the Groundspeak guidelines (as revised in April). Additional Logging Requirements are now forbidden -- with no "grandfathering" allowed. I used the ALR for this cache to introduce people to Morse Falls, where a physical cache cannot be placed. Without that, this would be a simple drive up that I do not have the ability or interest to maintain. Since the point of the cache is gone, so is this listing.

Geocache Description:

A hike up Morse's Gulch to one of the hidden treasures of Marin.

The coordinates take you to a micro right by the side of the road that you should easily find. But this is not a park and grab. To log this cache, you must walk up a half-mile trail to a beautiful 50-foot waterfall. The trail itself is not officially maintained or marked, but is easily followed. You will have to cross a creek and watch for stinging nettles, although we did not have any difficulty reaching this site. You will likely have the location to yourself.

The falls are best enjoyed after the rains in winter or early spring. To claim your find online you must not only sign the log, but post a picture of the falls or email the owner with a detailed description of what you saw.
