Nisene downhill Santa Rosalia mountain to Aptos stage 3, or the bottom of the grade.
This stage is not at the given coordinates. But it is within 400 feet of the kiosk at the bottom of the grade. You will find the exact coordinates in the lid of the cache in stage 2. You will also find a hint there. Otherwise you can try this by brute force if you don't want to go to the Lone prairie tree first. Now some details about the trip from Stage 2 to Stage 3. This is the longest downhill of the ride. Make sure you stop and rest your braking hands and your bikes periodically.
The recent storm (January 2008) caused several trees to fall across the road, so be very careful that you don't go too fast. You have to be able to stop quickly, then climb over, around, or under them.
To give you reasons to stop, I'll list several points of interest for after you leave stage 2.
1. Sand Point Overlook -- One of the better views in the park. You will be turning left here, but first enjoy the bench and the scenery. Most cell phones work here. Approximate location: N 37° 03.285 W 121° 53.285. Notice the route on the right that goes down to the campsite and on down to Olive Springs. Check out the nearby cache.
2. Turnoff to the route to 'the White Lagoon' and 'Decacherata', at 5 finger falls. The White lagoon is less than .5 miles up the road. Dechacherata is several hour trip. Approximate location of turnoff to the white lagoon : N 37 02.895, W 121 52.992

4. When you reach the bottom, you will arrive at a kiosk and at the creek. The GPS signal is very weak here, so use the hint you got at stage 2, and find the cache.
