You are looking for some 'leftovers' from Christmas. (It's OK, it is not turkey!)
The cache is another sneeky micro. The container holder is bigger than the average micro, but the actual log holder is quite small. A pencil is provided, but you had better take your own, just in case. Please re-hide the cache so it enjoys it's natural disguise. (You will know what I mean.)
This can be a very simple 'cache and dash', or enjoy a pleasant hour to stroll a round walk in the forest. The nearby village of Alderholt comes from the old names for Alder, Alor (which grows in very wet areas) and holt which was a name for a wood. It appears as Alreholt as far back as 1285.
Please do not over tighten the thread on the inner container, otherwise it tends to jam. (I have coated the thread in Vaseline, so should be OK for a while if not over tightened.)
