Once on the island use either one of the following waypoints as your starting point:
N 33º 19.682' W 118º 20.373'
N 33º 19.440' W 118º 20.520'
Both can take you to waypoint N 33º 19.397' W 118º 20.980'
From there, follow the road to waypoint N 33º 18.914' W 118º 19.827', then take the trail to the final site.
Please remember to stay on the roads and trails and to stay off the fire breaks. Also, be careful of snakes (especially in the summer time) and other wild life.
Per geocacher TSCHE (see entry below), "Note to Hikers: You are required to get a (free) permit to hike in Catalina. You may get the permit on the island at the Conservancy House (125 Claressa Ave. Open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)."
