This is the arithmetical center of Latvia. This point on average is the closest point to Latvia. If all Latvia would be grassland, then this would be the place where a haystack should be placed to carry the hay for the shortest way - it would have to be carried on average 119km.
The cache is placed near Pecora lake, which is about one square kilometre large. If you come from East side, the hike leads through a swamp, but the swamp is worth to visit.
