Geocache Description:

Fairly flat and easy walk some parts over soft terrain which can get boggy after rain.

Parking best at Holmsley Forestry Commission car park (N50 48.562 W001 41.148). Differing routes can be taken to the cache site, along the gravel path is easiest or walk along the edge of the former rare duck breeding farm but the final part is over softer ground either way. Lovely place for a walk, dogs have a great time. Holmsley inclosure is a very beautiful area with great views of the forest. There are paths to the cache site even if some are narrow and can be a little over grown. Cache is a small green plastic box with range of small swops and log book.

The walk from parking to the cache is about a mile round trip but you could take in "In A Spin(ney)" for a longer walk. If you are feeling clever try "What's the magic word?" and go for the hat-trick.

To avoid any confusion the cache was orginally called Duck or Grouse but I suffered a family mutiny when we got home after placing it but before publishing and so the name changed but the cache container still says the original name.
