Did you ever wonder where some of the local ammo can cache containers came from? Or why no one thought to point local geocachers to that area? Well, if you did wonder then this cache will interest you. If you never thought about it then you are probably thinking about it now.
If you are already aware, good for you. In my opinion an ammo can is one of the best geocaching containers. It is large enough to contain swag, is durable, waterproof, and not prone to be muggled by the fauna of the area. I have replaced two Tupperware type containers with ammo cans because of being probed and chewed by animals. My choice for a cache in the woods is an ammo can.
You will have to go inside the nearby building to find the cache container. Merely, mention to a clerk what you are about. Store hours are M-F 10-7; Sat 10-6; Sun 1-5
There will be some potential adoptees there, as well as lots of stuff that tend to congregate around such folk. Guess what the cache container actually is?
