Bring & Braai to end off another year of Geocaching,
before we all go on leave.
Come and join us at Gillooly's farm to celebrate the ending of yet
another year of geocaching. Come, braai, meet, relax and swop some
stories, on Saturday afternoon 29 November 2008.
A half drum braai, will be available to braai your meat.
"Pap en Sous" will be supplied, please bring your own rolls and
side dishes if you wish.
Braai will be going from about about 1PM.
We will be there from 11AM till 5PM.
Please bring your own chairs, balls, kites, frisbees, drinks, as
well as some geocaching stories.
There is a huge dinosaur for the kids to play on, and toilet
facilities close by. You will also have a good chance to do my
favourite cache here on the east rand "Gillooly's by GlobalRat"
(GCNDC8), while leaving the misses at the event.
TB's and Coins are welcome, but no official event log will be kept,
so its up to each individual to log and swop on your own. This is
also a great way to meet other cachers, and see the coins they
have.
Hopefully it does not rain!
But if it does we will congregate at the local restaurant for a few
drinks.
3 Caches will be hidden in and around the park, for the kids to
find, with small Christmas items. The cache voted best one, will
then be published on the web site afterwards.
For the new geocachers out there:
Please add a "Will Attend" to this event, so we have a good idea of
how many people will be attending.
If it is late in the afternoon, and maybe thinking of popping past,
but are not sure, then feel free to give me, Anton, a call
on 083 226-7406. Maybe we are having such a good time, that
we stay longer!
