About SideTracked

We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy ('cos there aren’t many Motorways in Wales). But what about public transport users? SideTracked caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-Dashes at Train Stations.

It is hoped this idea will spread across the country in the same way as the MMs…. If hiding one PLEASE BE SENSIBLE and remember that in this day and age, public transport is under greater scrutiny than ever before, so, although these caches should be quick and easy grabs, PLEASE don’t place a Cache where it could cause alarm.

About Kemble:

Kemble Railway Station serves the village of the Kemble and the larger town of Cirencester. It is located on the Swindon to Gloucester line, known as the "Golden Valley" and it has 2 platforms. The station was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1882 and was a 'junction' right up to the 1960s.

On a weekday, the station is now served by 18 trains Gloucester bound and 18 trains Swindon bound.

We are not sure how waterproof this one is going to be so please ensure the container is wedged in or kept totally covered by sticks, leaves etc.
