[Fin] Ei ole laajalti tiedossa, että sama arkkitehti, joka suunnitteli Pasilan Paloaseman, suunnitteli myös Hakaniemen Hallin, Kallion kirjaston, Nylands Nationin Helsingin Kasarmikadulla sekä useita koulurakennuksia Helsingissä. Hän oli Karl Hård af Segerstad (1873 - 1931), joka toimi Helsingin kaupunginarkkitehtina 1907-1917. Länsi-Pasilan paloasema on jäänne vanhaa Pasilaa, ajoilta ennen 1900-luvun loppupuolen rakennusbuumia. Se on nykyisin Niemikotisäätiön käytössä. Ei tarvitse astua aseman tontille. Saattaa olla löydettävissä talvella, lumen määrästä riippuen.
Update 18.09.2020: They have been blasting the rock beside the cache during the summer, and they've left a lot of small rocks there. The cache is NOT under those rocks!
[Eng] It is not nowadays commonly known that the architect who designed Pasila Fire station also designed Hakaniemi Market Hall, the Kallio library and Nylands Nation students' union building at Kasarmikatu, and several school buildings in Helsinki. He was Karl Hård af Segerstad (1873 - 1931). He was Helsinki City architect from 1907–1917. The old fire station in West Pasila is one of the few old buildings remaining from before the area was redeveloped in the latter half of the 20th century. It is currently used by Niemikotisäätiö (Niemikoti Foundation). The cache is a micro with logbook hidden near the old red-brick building. You don't need to set foot on the building's yard. It may be available in winter, depending on the amount of snow.
