How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A plastic clip top flask which you will need to climb to. Potentially dangerous and you should not attempt unless you are confident of your abilities to climb up to the cache and with greater difficulty climb back down again. Take care that you check that the hand and footholds chosen are solid. YOU ATTEMPT THIS CACHE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK

This cache was originally placed by Cache U Nutter, I have adopted it off him as he is no longer local, and it's a shame to lose caches such as these.

The cache location is some 50 ft away from the original which was under the bridge.

Rice Bridge GC12DJP

This has now been archived as it was continually being washed away by the river at times of flooding, at least 3 times a year. The old cache has been archived but still available for viewing; Ian Too's memorable experiences are well worth a read - Glad you survived your dunking Ian !!, also tjapakuai having a paddy !!

The new cache will not be washed away but at times it may well be very muddy under foot. Please ensure that you replace the container and camoflage exactly as you find it. GPS signal not that accurate around here but location is obvious. For parity, you will need to either climb to the cache or replace the cache. Container suitable for small T.B's and Geocoins only.

The container is semi-tethered to allow to be removed, but not dropped (although the lid could be). Parking is available at either waypoint, but if you park at Wonham Mill you can attempt another multi cache of mine.
