Geocache Description:

NOTE: The listed coordinates are not the position of the cache. You must solve the puzzle in order to determine the location of the cache.

For this cache, you will study pairs of pictures. Unlike other puzzles of this kind, you are not told how many differences your are looking for. So, you have to figure out how many differences in each pair.

Once you determine how many differences in each pair, you can combine your answers to form the coordinates for this cache.

The cache used to be hidden at N42° 00.ABC W88 14.DEF where A is the number of differences in the first pair of pictures, B is the number of differences in the second pair, and so on. All of the pairs have differences, so you won't use zero. Also, each pair has a different number of differences so you won't use any digit twice. Finally, each pair has less than ten differences so each pair will provide a single digit. But now, to locate the cache, you have to compute that location and then add .082 to North and .018 to West in order to find the cache. This change was necessary because the cache container had been muggled and the original hide spot has been deemed unusable.

So first get the number of differences and put those numbers in to determine where the cache used to be. Then add .082 to North and .018 to West to get the coordinates for where the cache is now. You can see if you have the correct current location of the cache by using this link.

Parking See the parking waypoint below. You should know that the parking area is in a cemetery and that the gates of the cemetery are locked at certain times. On the day that this cache was hidden, the sign indicated that the cemetery was open at the following times:
Nov. 1 - March 31 open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
April 1 - Oct. 31 open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
