Geocache Description:

An offset multi with easy math.

Recently, as I was driving in the neighborhoods near this area looking for some new caches, I realized there was a walkway over 85 I'd never noticed before. I parked my truck on the Campbell side and walked across to the Los Gatos side next to Rolling Hills Middle School. It seemed like a good spot for a cache.
As I walked across, I passed over the railroad line that runs all the way up past the stable where I board my horse in Cupertino. It struck me that I was crossing over two links. The walkway linked the Westmont area of Campbell with Los Gatos, and the railroad is a short link from Hanson Cement to the gravel yard in San Jose.

The posted coordinates will take you to the Los Gatos entrance of the walkway. There is minimal parking available on this side, and it can be very busy during school days. The cache is accessible 24 hours, although it might be harder at night.

To find the cache, you will need to do some very easy math based on numbers you will find at Stage 1 and will plug into the following set of coordinates:

N37 1H.AVE
W121 59.FUN

When you arrive at Stage 1, you will easily find some numbers arranged vertically with the letter "S" at the top. Let's call those numbers P, Q, R, S and T.

Q+T=H
P+Q-S=A
S+T=V
Q-R=E

Now, face east and look at the surroundings carefully. You will see a four digit number that is repeated four times. Let's call those four numbers W, X, Y and Z.

W+Z=F
(X-Y)x2=U
W+X=N

It's a short walk to the cache, and it is wheelchair accessible.
