Eagle Lake Muskie Landing

In an attempt to attract cachers from the “nearby” metropolitan area this cache has been placed. You now have an excuse to travel far from the creature comforts and mind boggling cache excesses of the greater Twin Cities Area. This cache is part of the super secret bread crumb trail system that will lead you into one of the greatest adventures of your life. You will be drawn to EAGLE LAKE MUSKIE LANDING.

Ladies…….. and……. Gentleman

Welcome to the shores of Eagle Lake home of our current champion and belt holder. The Bald Eagle. With talons of steel, wing span on seven feet and weighing in at fourteen pounds.

And in this corner Muskellunge. An ambush predator of 60 inches and 66 pounds. When these two meet you can be assured the water will be splashing and feathers will be flying.

Bouts are unscheduled and can occur with absolutely no notice. So timing or patience will prevail for the best seats and shows. While you are waiting be sure to take in our trading store located nearby in, get this, at the base of a hollow tree. How unusual!
