Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk through the woods of Wright County!

Cache Details

This cache is located in the 735-acre Robert E. Ney Memorial Park Reserve, just north of Maple Lake. The park is home to the Wright County Parks Environmental Education Center, and features 3.5 miles of ski/hike trails, a chapel, horse trails, a picnic area, and a public boat launch. Take some time to explore the trails, I think you'll enjoy your time here!

Location, Parking, and Access

Ample free and legal parking is available at park entrance and trailhead, at N 45° 15.419 W 093° 59.871. From there, it's just over a quarter-mile stroll up and down the well-maintained trails directly to the cache location. It's easy going on the trails, but the final hide location is just down a steep hill, so be careful if it's wet or icy!

You are looking for a rather large Lock & Lock container, hidden in the biggest geo-beacon I could find, after lugging the darn thing pretty much all over the park. It starts out with assorted camping supplies, and trinkets hand-selected from the 'Noles kidlet's personal collection. Enjoy your walk, and as always - thanks, have fun, and happy hunting!
