Geocache Description:

Where are we going? Planet 10! When are we going? Real soon!

With the assistance of our distant cousins, the Little Green Men, we took control of a Hypno-Slave/monkeyboy and had him place one of LGM's Hypno-Pods directly astride a major, navigable body of water, interdicting (and hypnotizing) river traffic as well as land traffic in two states. Moreover, this Hypno-Pod is strategically placed to relay communications between the Mother Ship and Lord John Whorfin at the Red Lectroid bivouac at YoYoDyne Propulsion Systems in Grovers Mills, New Jersey.

With the help of our LGM brethren and a little luck, the Red Lectroids will finally be able to get off this rock and back to Planet 10. The LGM plan to take over this miserable planet and they are welcome to it. All we need is Buckaroo Banzai's Oscillation Overthruster and we're outta Jersey and back to the Eighth Dimension. (See Related Web Page for full background). It is only a matter of time before Banzai comes into range and falls under the spell of one of LGM's Hypno-Pods! Until then, any monkeyboy with detailed knowledge of the engineering design of Buckaroo's Oscillation Overthruster is welcome to visit the above coordinates. The view of the Hudson River and Palisades is breathtaking (at least by monkeyboy standards), and the surrounding architecture intriguing (an early Lectroid radio station design now serving as an ad hoc transmitter array) – just never mind the Little Green Man with the Hypno-Pod – he's there to help you. If that is not enough of an incentive, we have left a monetary unit in the Hypno-Pod (which can be tracked, Mwahahaha) for the first to visit our cousin. Rehide our LGM agent so he is completely out of sight! This area has the markings of a teenage hang-out and, although LGM could control their feeble minds, they may outnumber him - so hide him well! We don't want our scheme revealed. Understand, monkeyboy?!

Park your mode of conveyance at N 40 57.920 W 073 53.166. Do not bring any domesticated canines. The park is closed between Sol set and 1 PM Zulu time (8 AM local time). While in the area (and under suggestion of the Hypno-Pod), go to N 40 58.019 W 073 53.179 and be in awe of the nearby docking station for the LGM Mother Ship where it will land the New York invasion force. You think they make structures like that for aesthetic reasons? And I thought Black Lectroids were gullible and naïve. No pictures though, it's a proprietary design.

UPDATE (11/2/14) Both of our prior Lectroid Bivouacs have been compromised by the beer-guzzling monkeyboy youth that frequent this station. Our agents have now been listed as officially Missing In Action. We have secreted another tiny Hypno-Pod in a new, novel bivouac. The new mini-Hypno-Pod is hanging by a magnet - please replace it as you found it. You will need tweezers as well! And bring your own writing utensils! The magnet holding the Hypno-Pod in place is not affixed by glue but by natural attraction - don't knock it off when you retrieve the Hypno-Pod! Understand, monkeyboy?
