On
A
E (exemple 1628 => 16 et
28)
Alors, on voyait
Ave Maria, gratia plena... ".
littoral vers Fabregas.
B / F = X1
E + D + B – 1 = X2
E – ((D x F) + B + F) = X3
C – (A + (BxD)+(FxE)
- 1) = X4

Since the creation of the sanctuary
of Our Lady of Good Guarding, every day, believers met themselves
to Janas and took bravely the road of the sacred eminence. They
were piously going to implore the Good Mother, assailed that they
were by the concerns and the permanent dangers. Then, we saw long
rows penitent dressed of them heavy dress of white or grey frieze,
to stretch on the hard paths by singing hymns taken back here and
there by numerous believers. The clergy grouped together behind the
crucifixes which carried clergeons (altar boys), shelled their
black rosaries and chant them lugubrious and stabbing got lost in
the high foliage " Ave Maria, gratia plena ".
Having made the tour and having admired the sight, take the path
of the coast towards Fabregas. Your purpose is the girl battisse
collapsed visible eastward on the crest.
You walk past the fourth oratory. Continer the path, in the
crossing with a bigger runway, keep the cape in the East.

The return :
The stroll is not ended for all that. It is necessary to you to
get down again what you went up.
Return to the last crossing before the semaphore and take direction

Farther steer you towards the varoise ledge. Continue on this
white blue beaconing, follow the runway W 915.
Having gone down everything, crossed the road and go towards the
right. A little farther take the runway W 905 towards the fort of
Peyras (the one that you had seen by far, WP2).
You will then walk past this battery and can even see a cannon
of German 105mm DCA.
The battery of Peyras was built in
1878-1879. It had for mission to beat the space included between
the isthmus of Sablettes and the high tide in approximately of the
rocks of Both Brothers.
It was a battery of bombardment of big calibre. its height allowed
to subject enemy vessels to a plunging firing, so increasing their
efficiency.
After the liberation it was transformed into school of D.C.A.
(Defence Against Aviation)
This battery illustrates in a typical way the new generation of
battery of coast (19eme). it presents a panorama of the evolution
of the batteries of coast since 1880 to the last world war,
according to a very clear legibility (on 1878, 1907-1930, 1943, on
1950).
It was disarmed in 1965.
Courage you are there almost. Continue on 905.
Over the end you will see on the right the acrobranche, an activity
taking place in trees.
In the small car park in the crossing, go on the left, a staircase
will return you to your car and to your well deserved rest.
