Geocache Description:


GENERAL RULES FOR CACHING IN IRAQ: This event cache is located in a war zone. It is on a coalition controlled installation. You will need proper credentials to gain access to the area. Do not post logs that give any references to what is around the cache site or might otherwise compromise OPSEC.

This event will be a Meet and Greet ocassion for the Combat Cachers in the Balad area. The event is open to all cachers (Military and Civilians) who are able to make the event. I also encourage you to bring along a friend or two who might be interested in this great sport. We will meet at the above location at 1900 and take it from there.

There will be several "Door Prizes" awarded during the event to include an unactivitaed 2007 Military Association of Geocachers (MAGC) Gold geocoin!! That should get you out for this event.

I also have a good supply of 35mm Film Cannisters sent to me by a cacher in the states. If anyone would like some to use as cache containers please let me know and I will bring some with me. Let me know the number you want and I will bring a few extras.
