Check out the great views on the 10 million dollar road to Red Head that didn’t cost the city a cent. Plus, a bonus bluff.
The cache is located in Red Head, NB. This is one way to get there:
Get on Bayside Drive and head south. Go past the old Dry Dock (now Irving Wallboard) and straight through the lights at the corner of the Red Head Road. As you pass by the Environmental Treatment Facility bear right (don’t cross the train tracks). Drive past the McAllister Industrial Park. Keep following the road until you see a sand and gravel area on the right. Near the back of the sand & gravel is a road at [N 45 15.391 W 65 59.384]. Park and follow this road. At [N 45 15.340 W 65 59.501] is an ATV trail on the right. Follow it to the bluff and cache area. Cache is a small plastic jar wrapped with camo tape. The new road allows for quick access to the bluff. Like the new road the bluff offers a great view of the city and bay.
