I am hiding this cache in memory of my brother Peter, who introduced me to geocaching last year, shortly before he died. He will never know the enormous amount of pleasure that this new hobby has given me.
As children we lived very near here, and often used to play along this path. One morning, when he was about 10 years old, Peter came along here to pick some berries to make a "poisonous potion" with the aid of his new chemistry set. He inadvertently disturbed a wasp nest, and the wasps attacked him and stung him on his ears. When I walk by here I always think of Peter and his poor sore ears!
This cache is hidden along the Worth Way, which is now a cycle route and bridleway, going from Three Bridges to East Grinstead. There is no parking very close by, so you will have to walk, ride or cycle here.
