Nice climb ,poor views
This cache is on Lead Mountain located on Rt. 9 near the Hancock and Washington County line. Using the C.C road, coordinates: 44,50.497 n and 068,04.317w, take this road briefly to the turn off, left up the mountain at coordinates:44,50.615n and 068,04.323w. Follow this dirt road to the parking lot coordinates:44,51.477n and 068,05.850w. The dirt road is easy on the vehicle and the parking lot is quite large. Continue up the trail to an intersection, 44,51.573n and 068,06.218w., here go up the stream bed or the rough cut road to the right of it. There is a small weather station along the way at :44,51.810n and 068,06.368w. Continue along the trail in a round about fashion to the cache at the top. The climb is good, the views are virtually non existent... be forewarned! The cache is very winter accessible. Be careful of guy wires at the top. The cache is a green 9 mm ammo can and is located at the top.Good luck Groleau
