A traditional cache hidden on Downs Bank near Barlaston. This is
a great spot for the kids and very popular with dog walkers. The
recommended parking below, is at a ford that you drive through
(which the geo-kids love). Alternatively, there is a National Trust
car park further up the road.
This cache is a small round container, on the lower path, down
by the stream. It's dog walkers paradise, so watch out for muggles.
This cache links up well as a round walk with "Third Generation - A
Cache For Jamie", which is much highier up and well worth a visit
to enjoy the fantastic views over North Staffordshire (you should
be able to get them both on a round walk in well under an hour -
this cache will take less than 30 minutes if you walk direct.
