Der
Geopfad Wuppertal –Barmen, auch Werner Paeckelmann-weg genannt, ist
eine mehr als 10 Kilometer lange Route durch Wuppertal-Barmen.
Auf diesem weg gibt es 14 stationen mit geologischen
Naturdenkmälern.
Magma
und Ziegelsteine ist eine davon:
Hier stand einst eine Brauerei. Die Rückseite des Hofes gibt einen
guten Aufschluss des untermeerischen Magmaausbruchs vor über 360
Mio. Jahren
Zur Oberdevonzeit. Einige steine der Wand zeigen Dampf-porenzüge,
die beim Kontakt der flüssigen Magma mit dem Meerwasser entstanden
sind .
Um den

Here once a brewery stood. The back of the yard is a good
indication of the submarine magma outbreak about 360 million years
ago, at the upper Devonian time. Some stones of the wall show steam
pore courses, which developed with the contact the liquid magma
with the sea water.
