The Hutchison Way is a 18.5 mile trail linking Wellington to
Newport. A fascinating route linking two historic towns.Created by
Telford & Wrekin council as a millennium project and named in
honour of late former Chief Executive of the council David
Hutchison, the original inspiration of the route.
The cache is a decent sized rectangular lunch box, which the
Scouts have filled with the usual assortment of goodies, and the
log book. Its a really nice walk if you park in the free car park
by the Scout Hut / Lilleshall Primary School and walk down Willmoor
Lane, alternatively there is parking for one car at the end of
Willmoor Lane. I have marked the trail head, you need to take the
Hutchison Way footpath that goes off down to your left. It is a bit
overgrown with nettles in places (so NO SHORTS), but in return you
are rewarded with an abundance of wildlife
