Different people take to puzzle caches in different ways.
- The gurus positively relish them and want to be the first to crack them and the first to find!
- People like myself enjoy (setting and) solving them, but are not quite so dedicated, and hence give up when inspiration fails, come back to them later or put them on the "some day perhaps" pile.
- Others reject them as being too hard/boring/tedious or whatever and hence unfortunately miss out on a lot of caches.
So this series tries to offer a series of puzzle caches, which will actually appeal to all audiences. The series consists of a set of increasingly difficult puzzles, which should keep the solvers happy. However, the twist is that each geocheck contains the information required on how to solve the next one. So in the geocheck for this cache (which should be a very simple puzzle to crack) you will find the information to help you solve the next one in the series. That one in turn contains help for the next one and so on. What I hope this means is that the gurus/solvers can sit at home and crack the puzzles and then leap off to be the FTF, whilst those who don't normally do puzzle caches can use the info to work their way round at their leisure (or race the gurus if they really want to!)

To further add to the fun, each geocheck (1 to 4) also has a clue in it. You will need the 4 clues plus the 4 clues from HortonHunter's Mists of Time series to solve our grand finale combined cache - ENDGAME. They form a logic puzzle, which is to be found on the ENDGAME page.
The coordinates above are for the green outside a local pub, which is not the cache location, but a pretty good place to start. The walk takes you through heathland, woodland, past a cricket pitch and a mill, some old earthworks, but no vertical cliff I am afraid!

The hides are not too tricky and are all near footpaths as this is meant to be a fun series. The GPS is not wonderful, so have tried to give helpful clues. Enjoy the walk and the views, wander off and explore pretty bits (there are lots of them), ask for help any time if you need it.
