Geocache Description:

A beautiful roadside park on the Loyalist Parkway west of Bath. There are 3 historic plaques in the park but the one about the tavern is the most interesting. Henry Finkle built the first tavern between Kingston & York here in 1786, he also built a brewery and a school. None of this remains all reduced to a memorial plaque. If you are at the event cache in Kingston on Oct. 2/07(Tuesday Night Lights) hoist a jar to Henry I'm sure he will appreciate it.

Container is a cammo'd small Lock and Lock, contains a log and small Geotreasures. Lots of parking, even a chip truck that might be open. Park, read the 2 other markers then read about Henry's Tavern and on to the cache which is a short distance away. !!! FTF Prize -- A shiney new, never been activated Travel Bug Tag. Start a "Bug" on us. !!!

**** Congrats to mTn biKer65 on being FTF at the Tavern ****
