This micro-cache is hidden in Julia Lee’s park in Madison Valley. As described by HistoryLink.org, the park is a “memorial to native Seattleite Julia Lee Roderick Knudsen, built on private property by her husband C. Calvert Knudsen. The park holds an Italianate garden with handsome wooden benches and has become a green and peaceful meeting place for Madison Valley residents of all ages.” The park is wheelchair accessible on the north side.
Please note that obtaining the cache does not require trampling or otherwise disturbing the lovely and well-maintained gardens in the park.
Have a seat and enjoy this little urban sanctuary!
