INTRODUCTION: Sherlock Holmes was a
fictional detective who first appeared in publication in 1887.
Often cited as the most famous of fictional detectives ever
created, Holmes was best known for his skillful use of
deductive reasoning. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle,
Scottish-born author and physician, was the creator of
Sherlock Holmes. Dr. John H. Watson, a biographer and friend
of Holmes, was the narrator of most of the
publications.
CHALLENGE: Although Doyle never wrote
End of the Line., this is the type of code that
Sherlock Holmes might have encountered in one of his mystery
adventures. It is your challenge to use your deductive reasoning
and solve the code. Once the code has been broken, the cache should
be nothing more than a magnetic “Park ‘n Grab.”
