SidAndBob: I was disappointed to find this one missing. As I check on this cache more often than it's found now, it's time to archive it.

Geocache Description:

Coxbury and Wyegate Lane is a beautiful and ancient route with excellent views over the Wye Valley and Valley Brook.

This lane was the main route between St. Briavels and Monmouth hundreds of years ago and Wyegate is listed in the Doomsday book. Now the traffic runs 500' below by the banks of the River Wye and the path has been left for the enjoyment of the odd walker. Carboniferous Limestone and ancient Yews line much of the path and there are many deer and birds of prey in the area.

I would recommend combining this cache with a section of Offa's Dyke Path from Bigsweir or even Redbrook. Ample free parking is available in both locations and a circular route can easily be devised.
