Sightseeing (die Einheimischen kennens eh):
Auf der bayerischen Seite des Inn, wenige Kilometer vor seiner Einmündung in die Donau in Passau, wo sich der Fluß durch die Enge zwischen den aufragenden Felsen zwängen muß, liegt die ehemalige Benediktinerabtei, mehr als 800 Jahre lang ein blühendes Kloster, das vor allem durch seine Schreibschule, aber auch durch die hier gepflegte Kirchenmusik Bedeutung erlangte.


On the bavarian side of the river Inn, only a few miles from the confluence with the river Danube away, there is the former Abbey of the Benedictines. For more than 800 years it was a famous monastery, famous for its writing school and church music.
