The VIEW from this cache is phenomenal, looking down on Lake Kachess and Thorp Lake and out over the tops of ridges with a 360 degree view, we felt "on top of the world"
There at least 3 different trails to get to this cache, we came off French Cabin Rd. and took the Thorp lake turn off, went to the end of the road and parked at the trail head for Thorp Lake. (We had no problems getting our VW Jetta up to the trail head) The trail is steep but in a short 2 miles you have the beautiful Thorp Lake to stop at and take a break (also a great spot for camping) Then just another 2 miles and you're at the top! It is well worth the time and the effort to see views such as these, very gorgeous panoramic views encompassing so many different ranges and peaks you can hardly take it all in.
