FIN: Pyhävuori sijaitsee Alajärvellä, lähellä Vimpelin rajaa. Pyhävuorelta on hienot näkymät Lappajärvelle. Vanha kansa piti Pyhävuorta jumalille pyhitettynä paikkana, ja alueella on mm.
uhrikivi. Paikalta löytyy myös Jaakko Reipakan erakkomajan jäännökset, jossa hän asui 1920-luvulla. Tarinan mukaan Pyhävuoren luolissa asustelee peikkoja.

SWE: Pyhävuori finns i Alajärvi, nära gränsen till Vimpeli. Från Pyhävuori har du fin utsikt över sjön Lappajärvi. Förr i tiden höll man Pyhävuori som en helig plats till gudarna och i området finns bl.a. en offersten. Här finns också lämningar efter Jaakko Reipakkas ödemarkstuga där han bode på 1920-talet. Enligt sägnen bor det troll i Pyhävuoris grottor.

ENG: Pyhäjärvi is located in Alajärvi, near the border of Vimpeli. From Pyhävuori you have a beautiful scenic view to lake Lappajärvi. Pyhävuori has been a sacred place, and there is a offering stone. There are also remains of a shelter made of stones, where Jaakko Reipakka lived in 1920’s. The story tells that there are trolls living in the caves of Pyhävuori.
