Some fine views to be had from this spot, and on a good day you
can easily see France.
Although called Summerhouse Hill, my kids have always called
this hill 'Granny's Island.' Everytime we passed it on the M20
driving to Granny's house in Folkestone, they would sing in chorus,
"Hello Granny's Island, Hello Granny's Island etc etc." Granny has
since moved to her own real island, The Isle of Man, but the hill
will remain, forever, as Granny's Island.
The cache is a standard size ammo box and has been stocked with
some really nice stuff. Please trade fairly!
Parking for one or two cars is available at the side of the road
at N51 05.757 E001 06.187... please don't block the access
gate.
