Tämä kätkö on omistettu (mutta ei rajoitettu) kätköilijäkollegoilleni, joiden lähiseuduille (n 30km säteellä) tekemiä kätköjä etsiskellen vietin lukuisia hauskoja päiviä kesälomallani 2007 – suurkiitokset teille kaikille.
This cache is dedicated (but not limited) to my fellow geocachers who made it possible for me to seek several fine caches around this location (radius about 30km) during my summer vacation 2007.

Rikkoutunut purkki on vaihdettu uuteen. Purkkia ei ole mitenkään naamioitu, joten sopivasta suunnasta katsottuna se näkyy ainakin 10m päähän.
Yllättävästi metsä kasvaa - 2007 täältä näkyi vielä hyvin järvelle, nyt pitää vain arvailla, missä päin vesistö lienee.
Bonuskätkölle on tähän mennessä hakeutunut tietääkseni vain kaksi kätköilijää. Tältä kesältä alkaa bonuskausi olla ohi, mutta ensi kesänä se toimii taas jollakin todennäköisyydellä.

Metsäautotie kätkölle lähtee pisteestä N61 49.164 E24 51.342. Mikäli tulet autolla, sen voi pysäköidä joko pisteeseen N61 49.273 E24 50.741 tai ihan tien päähän. Tietä reunustavan ryteikön läpi pääsee parhaiten joko edellä mainitulta pysäköintipaikalta tai pisteestä N61 49.145 E24 50.734.
Kätkö on yhdellä vuoren korkeimmista kohdista. Kätkön lähistöltä avautuu näkymiä järvelle, jolla vietän kohtalaisesti aikaa kesäisin. Vuoren laella, pisteessä N61 49.087 E24 50.708, on ”metsänhaltijan” valtaistuin (kts kuva). Jos haluat nähdä järven eteläiseen päätyyn päin, se onnistuu parhaiten pisteen N61 49.071 E24 50.717 ympäristöstä. Kasvava puusto rajoittaa kaikkialla näkyvyyttä, mutta hieman katselupaikkoja vaihtelemalla saa joltisenkin kokonaiskuvan seudusta.
Lokikirjassa on multikätkömainen opastus kesämökilleni. Vietän siellä suuren osan kesälomistani ja useimmat kesäiset viikonloput. Jos sinulla on aikaa, poikkea katsomaan, olenko paikalla – keitän kahvit, jos kohdataan.

The broken container has been replaced. There is no special camo applied, so in good direction you can see the container about 10m distance.
It's amaising how the woods grow. 2007 it was easy to see the lake, but now there is no water seen unles it is raining.
As far as I konw, there has been only two visitors at the bonus cache. For this year the bonus is closing, but it should work next summer again (if you are lucky).

The forest road to the cache starts in location N61 49.164 E24 51.342. If you are arriving by car you can park it either in N61 49.273 E24 50.741 or in the very end of the road. Next to the road there are very thick bushes. The best locations to pass those are either next to the above mentioned parking place or N61 49.145 E24 50.734.
The cache is on one of the highest points of the mountain Rajalahdenvuori. Near the cache you can have a view to the lake where I spend lot of time during summer. On the top of the mountain (N61 49.087 E24 50.708) there is the throne for “the gnome of the forest” (se the photo). If you wish to have a look to the southern part of the lake, you should visit the area around N61 49.071 E24 50.717.
In the logbook there is a “multi cache description” how to find my summer cottage. I spend most of my summer vacation and several weekends in summer time there. If you are not too busy, find out if I’m there – I’ll make some coffee.
