Geocache Description:

You will be looking for a small lock and lock container which SHOULD be accessed via Kayak or Canoe. I know there are those who will try without one.[:D]It has been secured with a cord in a cradle. Please return as found..This Cache has the WMF stamp of approval[:)]

This is the third cache placed along the Bantam River by kayak with the intent to take you on a southern scenic river tour to Bantam Lake. The name of the cache is the only hint you will get. You will have to exit your kayak to find this one. Be careful, the water is very deep

From the launch site, GC15ADN, to the lake there is one Beaver Dam to cross and the voyage is approximately 3 miles round trip. I saw 4 beaver and even got the tail warning from all of them.

There are less weeds than the northern route and a feeling of being on a wilderness trek away from roads and trails. Well worth the trip, even without caches along the way.
