Geocache Description:

The cache is not at this location which is an entirely unremarkable roundabout in Bradley Stoke. The cache is within half a mile of this location.

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast. There is a stats listing run by Billiethecat, so you can see how many Little Bridges you have found, you can find it here:- https://littlebridgesseries.wordpress.com/ . If you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan on stanthews@aol.com and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xxxx then the name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to stats list.

This cache is located in Bradley Stoke, famed for being subject to a shopping monopoly by you know who until very recently (when a German relief column arrived!). Although regarded by many as just a vast housing estate, there are some nice walks and cycle tracks. Cache density is rising too!

There are 6 of its stores within 2 miles of the centre of Bradley Stoke. This cache can be found in two stages and may require more than one visit. The first stage will require bearings

and projections

of bearings between 4 of the stores which will give you various potential hide locations. You will need to locate the stores and work out which bearings are relevant - the positions I have used are right in front of the main entrances.

The correct cross-fix is very close to the final cache location. The exact location of the cache can only be seen when you get near and relies on two transits between objects that display one and the other two of the company's three corporate colours respectively.

There is only one spot where the two transits intersect

The last 20 feet to the final cache location is on a public footpath and is not wheelchair accessible, although strollers should be OK. It is a Muggle-rich area, so stealth is required.

FTF Honours: beanysquil.

Update 10 June 08 Without spoiling the logic behind this puzzle I have been trying to find a way of placing a suitable cache container. I now have a plan - it may even be cunning, but due to the method I am using the container size is now a nano - so please bring a pencil/pen and just date/initial the log. Access is a now a little trickier (and almost as public), but there was never any wheelchair access in its original position. Be careful with children - there is water (not very deep) nearby
