For this cache, you walk uphill for about 10mins until you come to the second crossroads which I've waypointed. Turn left here. After about 100yrds you will reach a second 'crossroads'...go straight ahead. You will soon come across the pond.
It was originally a curling pond in Victorian times. Now, it is a lovely peaceful place to be. The kids and dogs love it here. You won't be disappointed!
The path can be very muddy, but easy to skirt along the side on the heather (you will see where others have gone). The co-ordinates have only a 30ft accuracy due to tree cover, so read the clue! Cache is 25ft from the pond.
Cache is a regular sized plastic clic-loc box filled with the usual swaps.
Here's a great view of the pond as a curling rink...as it was intended to be! Thanks to Dastardly Dillons for this great photo!
