Geocache Description:

This is just about Australia’s most southerly gc.com Geocache! Well it's the end of the road!… Next bus stop, South Pole!

This cache has bragging rights, you can’t drive any further south in Australia! Tell your friends that you have driven to the ends of the earth to get to this one!

An infant southern right whale is close by and is well worth the visit.

You will be able to do it in a day trip or while down here make a weekend of it and check out some of the other caches and sights. This place is very popular with campers during the summer months, some muggle potential.

You will have to have a Park Pass, if you are a tourist then you will most probably already have one or you can pay when you arrive as this area is part of the Southwest National Park and is full of Tasmanian history, lovely quiet beaches and great short walks.

For the FTF there is an unactivated Worldcaching Ocean 2007 Geocoin, you will have to include a photo of the view (and you if you like) with your log and then email me with the tracking number to get the activation code.

There are lots of good ‘quality’ swaps so come prepared.
Cache is a 2 litre systema and at time of placement there was:
Unactivated Worldcaching Ocean 2007 Geocoin for the FTF
Travel Bug from the other end of the planet…
Australian Geographic DVD of “Tasmanian Wilderness”
Carabiner Compass (Large)
Carabiner Key Ring
Carabiner Torch
LED Flashlight
3 Plastic Toys
Logbook, Pencil and Sharpener (please leave these in the cache)
