Located in Alpine, NJ Boy Scout Camp just off the main trail that leads up to Rt 9W. (Not to be confused with the NY Boy Scout Camp which is located on 9W) Parking is on Anderson Av off Ruckman Rd. Parking not allowed in the Scout Camp.
The Alpine, NJ Boy Scout Camp is used by Boy Scout Troops year round. Many use the camp as their starting point to hike the Palisades Historic Trail. The trail is clear but rocky. If you meet the camp ranger, let him know you are geocaching.
This is our first cache which we hid in an ammo can. Contents include: log book. glow stick, first aid kit, whistle, neckerchief slide, three patches, flashlight,
caribeaner and compass.
