En
1240 Saint Louis décide la construction d’une ville aux
portes de son royaume afin d’ouvrir un accès sur la
Méditerranée. Ce sera ici, à Aigues-Mortes, dans un pays fait de
marais, de sable et d’eau. Sept siècles plus tard, les
fortifications dominent toujours la Camargue, offrant un des
ensembles d’architecture médiévale les mieux conservés de
France.

La
TourCarbonnière.« G77 »
Située
sur la commune de Saint Laurent d’Aigouze, cet ancien poste
de veille, avancé vers l’intérieu du pays défendait le seul
accès à la cité.on peut le visiter librement, découvrir les étages,
monter sur la terrasses d’où l’on peut apercevoir les
remparts d’Aigues Mortes et les marais
environnants.

Stationnement
aux abords de la tour, vous trouverez la G77, puis admirez la vue
offerte depuis cette tour stratégique.
Élevée
à l’emplacement de l’ancienne tour Matafère par Saint
Louis, la Tour de Constance est construite en 1242 pour protéger le
port et la cité. Elle est l’unique élément défensif
d’Aigues-Mortes. Un pont dormant relie le châtelet à la tour
qui est ceinte à l’origine d’un fossé annulaire. En
1249, on parle de la Tour du Roi. En 1254 au retour de la septième
croisade, elle est terminée.
Elle
se situe sur la rive droite, avec des parkings à
proximité,attention votre GPS vous guidera au bord d’une
petite rue, avec un trottoir relevant du symbole.

Listel. « Small »
Cette géo-cache se situe à l’entrée d’une production
viticole, très connue pour son vin des sables. Vous pourrez aussi
visiter le domaine de Jarras,
Ainsi
que ses terres agricoles.
La
production viticole et les salines voisines s’étendent de la
cité médiévale à la station balnéaires, jusqu’aux portes de
la mer. Employant aussi beaucoup de personnes, elle fait avec le
tourisme de gros pôles d’emploi.

Voici un coin sauvage, véritable retour dans une nature sauvegardée
et livrée à son sort.
Attention,
ce lieu est fragile, il est fortement interdit de fumer, au vue de
ce tapis naturel d’aiguilles de pin.
Son
accès est possible depuis la Départementale, partant sur Le Grau du
Roi et La Grande Motte, tournez à droite à la hauteur du rond-point
du Flamant Rose.

The Carbonnière Tower. “G77”
Located on the commune of Saint Laurent d' Aigouze, this old

In 1254 with the return of the seventh crusade, it is
finished.
It is
located on Right Bank, with carparks in the vicinity, attention
your GPS will guide you at the edge of a small street, with a

The
Pine forest of the Listel. “Small”
This
géo-hiding place is located at the entry of a wine production, very
known for its wine of sands. You will be able to also visit the
Domaine de Jarras,
Like its arable lands.
The
wine production and the close saltworks extend from the medieval
city at the seaside resort, to the doors of the sea. Also employing
many people, it makes with tourism of large poles of
employment.
